For this week's meals I did some surfing on pinterest and found some new and different recipes for my family to try. I also shopped at Trader's Joe's which I haven't done in awhile. I love that store and the employees! The staff seems happy to be there and they are helpful. It is an affordable way for me to buy organic without breaking the bank! Found some new snacks for the boat and breakfast foods for my early risers going to swim team. I also love that all products are GMO free. I may have to apply for a job there!
Our menu for the week ahead looks like this:
Monday: Summer Chicken Chopped Salad with Strawberries, Avocado & Feta
Tuesday: Ribs and Broccoli Slaw
Wednesday: Turkey Burger Pitas with Corn & black Bean Salad
Thursday: Healthy Baked Sweet & Spicy Wings with German Red Potato salad
Friday: Tomato, Vidalia Onion Pie & Salad
Saturday: Anniversary weekend so planning on going out Saturday night. Simple pasta dish for kids.
Sunday: Some type of fish cooked on the grill-whatever wild caught fish is on sale- and quinoa salad.
